ETAP 46DS "Most innovative yacht" in Dusseldorf !

On January 21st , in Düsseldorf , the election of the European Yacht of the year by journalists coming from 11 European countries was held. The ETAP 46DS received the award as Innovative Yacht of the Year 2006 . This award is very important since competition is across the whole range of preselected ships.
The motivation of the jury: “With a lot of courage and even more time the Belgian shipyard has launched a very convincing top model, in every perspective. It emphasizes once again and like all other yachts from the yard, its attention for detail in a well-thought and practical manner. Prior to the launch of this yacht, a 3-year study including consults with quality circles with ETAP owners, most unusual in boating industry, was conducted. But also with the style of this yacht, ETAP has set an enormous step forward. Together with the designers from the Italian Bertone group they have created a modern, yet practical, comfortable and seaworthy interior.
The unsinkable ETAP 46Ds can also be delivered with a tandem keel of 1.55 m draught, which appeared in the tests not be inconvenient at all. The yacht meets the future concept of a cruising yacht in every respect.”
These awards are another proof of Etap Yachting’s competence and confirm their ambition as leaders in innovation.
